What does Digital Deluxe add?
The named digital additions are the Inmate Michael Myers skin and two exclusive Civilians, Richard and Alexis. The official preorder FAQ says a Digital Deluxe Edition Upgrade will be offered at launch. No further named items are specified in that FAQ.
Digital Deluxe early access began September 4 at 9 AM PT and is now over. See the release timeline for the past digital dates and upcoming physical release.
Are early access and preorder bonuses still available?
The digital preorder period has ended. The launch FAQ included Deluxe purchases made during early access, with a cutoff of September 8, 2026 at 9:00 AM PT. A new Deluxe purchase no longer includes early access or that expired preorder offer.
How the Phantom preorder skin works
The Phantom Michael Myers skin is described as a digital preorder exclusive. The publisher says it will not be sold after the preorder period. Both Digital Standard and Digital Deluxe qualifying preorders included it. The physical edition FAQ explicitly says physical preorders do not receive the Phantom skin.
Physical “Advance Access” is not early game access
The physical article uses “Advance Access” for the Clown and Samhain Michael Myers skins and Civilian cosmetics. It explains that these items are immediately unlocked for physical-edition buyers but can also be earned through in-game challenges. The earlier Digital Deluxe benefit allowed play before the September 8 digital release.
The physical game is announced for PS5 and Xbox Series X on disc. The article does not announce a physical PC version or an Xbox Series S disc, and this page does not infer one.
Which edition fits which buyer?
- Choose Digital Standard if you want the base game at the lowest announced digital price and do not want the Deluxe characters.
- Choose Digital Deluxe if Richard, Alexis, and the Inmate skin are worth the $20 USD difference to you.
- Consider Physical Standard if owning the disc and poster matters more than playing at digital launch.
- Consider the Collector’s Edition only for its physical items and known cosmetics, not as an investment or stock-tracking product.
The Civilians page separates the ten Standard Edition launch characters from Richard and Alexis. The platform page explains where each format is announced.
Can the Deluxe characters be bought later?
The official FAQ says the launch Deluxe upgrade includes the two characters. It does not publish a separate character-only price.
Does Collector's Edition include Digital Deluxe?
The physical announcement lists its contents but does not state that it contains Digital Deluxe or its early access. Only the listed contents are treated as confirmed.
