Answers before opinions

The game has not launched. That makes the boundary between a published mechanic and a plausible guess unusually important. These pages focus on decisions a player can make now: when access begins, which edition includes early access, whether friends on different platforms can connect, and whether a PC meets the published baseline.

Strategy claims will come later, after the public build creates evidence. There is no strongest character, fixed escape path, hidden damage table, or launch troubleshooting promise on this site today.

    Release date, time, and preload

Separate the confirmed date, Deluxe early access, physical release, and still-unannounced preload.

  2. 02
    Edition and price comparison

Compare all four announced versions without duplicating one page per storefront.

  3. 03
    Platforms and PC requirements

Use the official Windows 11, RAM, GPU, DirectX, and SSD lines.

Community resistance

Death can shift a player into a Sheriff's Deputy or Dr. Loomis role. Michael cannot be killed, but the wider response can detain him.

Evidence is part of the interface

A fact can be official, observed in official gameplay, community reported, awaiting launch verification, unconfirmed, or superseded. Those states prevent an old store line, a demo observation, and a player rumor from appearing equally certain.

Factual pages end with a compact, collapsed source list. Trust and legal pages do not add irrelevant citations. The full method lives in the editorial policy.

Launch help without imaginary fixes

Troubleshooting pages stay private until a problem exists.

Server, matchmaking, invite, anti-cheat, startup, performance, controller, Steam Deck, and save-location drafts are prepared but excluded from navigation, public routes, robots, and Sitemap. A page moves forward only after an official acknowledgement, corroborated reports, a public reproduction, or a safe reversible remedy.
