Halloween: The Game Patch Notes and Updates

Last verified Applies to PS5 · Xbox Series X|S · Steam · Epic Games Store

This record summarizes dated Halloween: The Game updates from the publisher. A reported fix is evidence of what IllFonic changed, not proof that every affected player has received the update or that every similar symptom is resolved.

September 26, 2026 — Patch 1.0.4

IllFonic’s 1.0.4 announcement is the latest published patch found during the September 30 check.

Affected area Officially reported change and scope
Grab escapes Corrects excessive escape difficulty at Bloodthirst Level 3 and fall damage after struggling free on uneven terrain; these issues followed 1.0.3
Xbox Series X Adjusts Performance Mode settings; memory/GPU crash fixes cover both Xbox Series X and S
Xbox Series S Replaces the Quality/Performance toggle with one graphics mode capped at 30 FPS, with improved textures and hair physics
Loomis arriving Fixes a performance hit, or crashes on lower-spec platforms, when Loomis spawns

These are the publisher’s reported changes, not independent performance measurements or a guarantee that every crash is fixed. Check your installed game version before comparing symptoms.

Checking for later updates

This is a dated, selective help record, not a live patch feed. Check the official news archive for announcements after September 30, 2026. Planned updates are not treated here as released fixes.

Does this fix my problem?

Match the symptom to the stated scope. General crash fixes do not identify a specific startup failure, and Xbox-specific changes do not establish the same result on PC or PS5.

For related context, see offline play, challenge progression, or Michael’s abilities. These summaries are based on official patch notes; they are not in-game test results.
