The official preorder FAQ gives one precise clock time: 9:00 AM Pacific on Friday, September 4. In September, Pacific Time is normally observing daylight time, so the table below converts the announced moment rather than asserting separate regional store unlocks.

What time does the standard release unlock?
The date is confirmed, but the checked first-party sources do not publish one global unlock time for every storefront. The US PlayStation listing displays September 8 at 4:00 PM UTC. That is useful store-specific evidence, not proof that Steam, Epic, and Xbox use the same instant in every region.
If the publisher announces a universal launch schedule, this page will replace that narrower statement and record the change. Until then, check the countdown or release field in the store where you purchased the game. Do not change your account region to force an earlier unlock.
Is preload available?
No official preload schedule was located as of August 26, 2026. A store showing a download button near release does not necessarily establish a publisher-wide preload window. We will add the exact platform, start time, and source only after an official listing or announcement appears.
PC players can use the system requirements page to prepare storage space now: the Epic listing specifies 45 GB on SSD/NVMe. Console players should leave additional free space for platform installation overhead and possible launch updates, but no update size is being guessed here.
Digital versus physical dates
Digital Standard launches September 8. Digital Deluxe includes the earlier September 4 access window. The physical editions launch October 6 and the official article says the game is on the disc. The physical date is later than both digital dates; “Advance Access” on physical cosmetic items means those cosmetics unlock immediately with the physical purchase, not that the disc ships before digital early access.
