Michael Myers is designed as a methodical stalker who manipulates sightlines and darkness rather than a conventional sprinting attacker. The official overview names five central tools: Killer Sense, Stalk, Shape Jump, Shape Dash, and Blackout.

Killer Sense

Killer Sense shifts Michael into a first-person perspective and heightens awareness of nearby potential prey. The official description connects it directly to stalking and locating residents. It does not publish a detection radius, duration, or cooldown.

Stalk

Focusing on a target builds different levels of Stalk. Those levels help identify and track targets and open additional execution options. The wording confirms a progression relationship, but it does not reveal a numerical meter, exact thresholds, or damage multiplier.

Shape Jump

Shape Jump lets Michael slip into darkness and move through the environment unseen. It increases base movement speed and opens other traversal options. Two constraints are explicit: Michael can enter and exit only while covered by darkness or outside a resident’s line of sight.

That creates a readable counter-condition for Civilians—light and observation matter—without justifying a claim that a specific lamp or corner always prevents the ability.

Shape Dash

Shape Dash is described as a forward lunge with violent momentum available through Shape Jump. Its range, recovery, collision rules, and damage are not published. Those are launch-verification items, not missing numbers to fill with estimates.

Blackout and control of light

Michael can shut off lights, cut power, and trigger temporary Blackouts. Since Shape Jump depends on darkness or unseen space, Blackout is part of controlling the environment rather than an isolated visual effect. The official overview does not state an exact area, timer, or reset rule.

Special Targets and executions

At the beginning of a match, Michael receives a list of Special Targets positioned around the map. Killing them before time expires provides greater rewards. Killer Sense and Stalk help find and prioritize targets. Reward amounts, target-selection rules, and timer values remain unpublished.

Can Civilians kill Michael?

The official answer is no: Michael cannot be killed. Civilians, residents, officers, a returning Sheriff’s Deputy, and Dr. Loomis can build enough resistance to overpower and detain him, sending him back to Smith’s Grove. The death and Loomis page explains that confirmed end-state without inventing the required item sequence.

No pre-launch build rankings

There is not enough official evidence for cooldown charts, damage tables, hidden movement values, skill rankings, or a strongest loadout. After release, any measured value must name the patch and method. Until then, the useful preparation is understanding how the published abilities connect: sense, stalk, control darkness, reposition, and pursue objectives.

See the multiplayer objective guide for both sides of the loop and single-player details for how the story introduces Michael’s role.

Is Shape Jump teleportation?

The official language says Michael slips into shadows to move unseen and gains movement/traversal options. It should not be reduced to a fixed-range teleport without launch evidence.

Are cooldowns known?

No exact cooldown values were published in the checked official overview as of August 26, 2026.
